Sub-Recipient of the Month, City of Goleta

The City of Goleta has been one of our most dedicated supporters in Santa Barbara County for the past several years. As a Social Model Hospice, liscensed under Social Services rather than Public Health, we are not eligible for Medicare reimbursements, or Federal funding like Medical Model Hospices.

We therefore greatly appreciate and rely upon the support of our local government’s Social Service and Community Development grants, which allow us to serve the most vulnerable in our community regardless of their ability to pay.
