Volunteering

Volunteers from the community enhance the quality of Sarah House and our mission.
House Volunteers: Our Volunteers assist in creating a warm and welcoming Sarah House experience. Whether in the kitchen or the gardens, we need kind people willing to serve. Currently we are in need of Volunteers who can help us prepare and serve our meals. Dinner Volunteers arrive about 5pm and are finished by 7pm.
Some Volunteers commit to a day of the week, while others make themselves available on more of an impromptu basis. Please email our office at office@sarahhousesb.org if you would like to be contacted by the Volunteer Coordinator.

Brad
In 1997, Brad’s family moved him to Sarah House in order that we might care for him in the last months before his death. Thankfully, that was not to be.

Testimonials
Thank you for creating a home that leads with love. The entire staff was wonderful every step of the way. Sarah House felt like a beautiful oasis during an extremely difficult time. Time spent in the garden was life-affirming and helpful on the darkest days. I am so very grateful for Dad’s ability to spend his last days in such a beautiful place with such special people. Our family so appreciates Sarah House for its kindness, tenderness, and support.
