First Congregational Church invited Sarah House to host an informational table at their 7th Annual "Harvest of Hope" which took place on October 28th, 2007 from 10 am to 12 noon. Azita John and Denise Lagermann, the administrative staff of Sarah House spent that sunny Sunday afternoon chatting with members and friends of the First Congregational Church. It was a lovely day for a table event such as this one. Other organizations that were invited to table included Transition House, Storyteller Center, Mental Health Association, Casa Esperanza, CALM, Domestic Violence Solutions amongst many other worthy organizations. There was also a "chili cookoff" along with pies, cookies, brownies and other delectable treats for "inquiring minds".
