Artizan's Ball 2008

We would like to invite you to our annual holiday benefit, THE ARTIZAN’S BALL - IMAGINE…. Our event will be held at “Rockwood,” on Saturday night, December 13 from 6 to 10 pm.  This year’s version of Artizan’s Ball once again promises to be an exciting and memorable event.

The evening focuses on the talents of our Santa Barbara Artizans community. We have invited several of our most prestigious “plein-air” artists to paint and create during the evening while you, our supporters, can view the artists in action as it all magically unfolds. Award winning and nationally recognized artist Stephen Holland has donated a captivating portrait of John Lennon which will be up for auction at The Artizan’s Ball. This beautiful piece is showcased on our save-the-date card, pictured below. We will feature a silent art auction, and for those of you who are serious art collectors, travelers and entertainers, you will have the opportunity to bid on original international & local fine works of art, California vacation/getaways, dining delights and parties in the privacy of your home and last but not least, IMAGINE… inspired table- top trees created by local Artizans. All of the artwork and trees are designed, decorated, and donated by local Artizans, businesses, and friends of Sarah House.

The evening’s events include entertainment by the national champion San Marcos Madrigals, Go-Go Dancers live in the main Ball Room, catering by New West and bar by the Wildcat Lounge. We will also have wines donated from two of our outstanding local wineries, Buttonwood Farm Winery and Alma Rosa Winery and Vineyard. We are excited to have nationally known performance artist Norton Wisdom, who has demonstrated his artistry at Disney Hall, Lincoln Center, Monterey Jazz Festival and the Winter Olympics. Although dress code is optional, we invite you to join us in your IMAGINE… costume of your own creation, reflecting the fabulous 60’s!  Please call our office at (805)882-1192 for tickets($125 per ticket) to this fabulous ball!
